Hartfell Hill Racing Club
What is Hartfell Hill RACING club?
Hartfell Hill Racing Club is the Scottish Athletics affiliated subsidiary to Hartfell Hill Running Club.
It is a vehicle to allow members of Hartfell Hill Running Club to compete in Scottish Athletics competitions at regional, nation and international levels in Hill, Fell, Mountain, and Trail running. It is not necessary to be a member of the racing club to compete in Scottish Hill Runner's Completions as the SHR is not part of Scottish Athletics.
You should join the racing club if you wish to represent your region or Scotland at the highest level. Joining the racing club will cost an additional £7 over the normal membership fee of Hartfell Hill Running Club, or £3 if you are already a member of a another affiliated running club, all this additional money goes directly to Scottish Athletics.
If you are a member of a Scottish Athletics running club already, assuming that club is more a track and field or road running club, then it is acceptable to stipulate that club as your first claim club for track and field or road racing and Hartfell Hill Racing Club as your first claim for off road running.
Hartfell Hill Racing Club is a not-for-profit associated body, all members of the Club shall be jointly and severally responsible for the financial liabilities of the Club.
All policies and governance are the same for both clubs.
